Infinix GT 30 Pro Global Launch Imminent, IMEI Database Shows

Infinix is said to be gearing up to introduce the GT 30 Pro, as the smartphone has appeared in the IMEI database under the model number X6873. Although the listing doesn’t reveal any specifics regarding its hardware, it suggests that the launch of the device may be imminent, possibly as the next version of the GT 20 Pro that was launched last year.

Insights from the GT 20 Pro

To gain some insight into what the new model might offer, we can examine the Infinix GT 20 Pro. This smartphone was released as a mid-range option for gamers, boasting a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that has FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a DCI-P3 color gamut. It also features a 360Hz touch sampling rate and peaks at 1300 nits brightness. At its heart, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

    Design and Capabilities

The design of the GT 20 Pro is inspired by mecha aesthetics, showcasing an RGB mini LED array and a C-shaped ring on the back. The camera system includes a triple rear setup with a 108MP main sensor and two 2MP sensors, complemented by a 32MP front-facing camera. It is powered by a robust 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

    Gaming Features and Support

Tailored for gamers, this device incorporates a Pixelworks X5 Turbo chip along with an X Boost gaming mode that allows for performance of up to 90fps in most gaming titles. It operates on XOS 14, which is based on Android 14. Other notable features include NFC, USB Type-C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, dual JBL speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an X-axis linear motor, and it promises two Android OS updates along with three years of security updates.

In addition, Infinix is also developing the Note 50 smartphone, which is expected to offer 45W fast charging. The anticipated price for this model is reported to be under Rs 15,000.

  • Realme Neo 7: 7000mAh Battery and 2.4 Million AnTuTu Score

Realme Neo 7: 7000mAh Battery and 2.4 Million AnTuTu Score

Realme recently revealed that the Neo series will now run separately within its product range, positioning itself as a mid-level e-sports flagship. Xu Qi, who is the vice president of Realme, affirmed this decision as part of a strategy to set the Neo series apart from the high-end GT range.

Realme Neo7 Scores High in AnTuTu

The newest development revolves around the realme Neo7, which is expected to be a formidable mid-range gaming device. A recent leak from tipster Digital Chat Station indicates that the forthcoming phone has reached an outstanding AnTuTu score of 2.4 million points. This marks a considerable improvement from its predecessor, the realme GT Neo6, which recorded a score of about 1.5 million. In addition to its Dimensity 9300+ chipset, the device will feature a sizable 7,000mAh battery, highlighting its emphasis on powerful performance.

    Clarifying the Lineup

For those who are a bit unclear about the lineup, it’s important to note that there was no realme Neo6; instead, there was a GT model known as the GT Neo6. The AnTuTu listing does refer to the phone as realme Neo6. However, the combination of last year’s flagship Dimensity 9300+ and the large 7000mAh battery indicates a strong focus on high performance.

In May of this year, the company introduced the GT Neo6, which is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, UFS 4.0 storage, and a smaller 5500mAh battery. Notably, the GT Neo6 provides incredibly fast 120W charging, which is also anticipated for the upcoming Neo7, especially given its larger battery capacity.

    Design and Specifications

On other notes, the earlier GT Neo6 comes with a 6.78-inch display that is curved on both sides. With the 5500mAh battery, this phone has a thickness of 8.7mm and weighs 191g. It is likely that Realme will use the new high-density silicon anode battery technology in the Neo7, making it thinner and lighter than expected. For comparison, the GT7 Pro weighs only 4g more than its predecessor, the GT5 Pro, which has an 1100mAh lower capacity. Therefore, the Neo7 should provide a pleasant in-hand feel. More specifications are expected to be revealed in the near future.
