Meizu Unveils Note 21, Note 21 Pro, and Meizu 21 Globally

Meizu has expanded its latest smartphone offerings to international markets following a China-only release earlier this year. The lineup includes the Note 21, Note 21 Pro, and the recently unveiled Meizu 21. Here’s a closer look at what these mid-range devices have to offer.

Specifications of Meizu Note 21 and Note 21 Pro

The Note 21 series presents large FHD+ IPS LCD screens. The Note 21 features a 6.74-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, whereas the Pro model upgrades to a 6.78-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. For selfies, the Note 21 uses an 8MP camera, while the Pro version includes a 13MP front-facing sensor.

Turning to the rear cameras, the Note 21 is equipped with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The Note 21 Pro enhances this with a 64MP primary camera alongside the same 2MP depth sensor.

    Meizu Note 21

Meizu has not disclosed the exact eight-core processor in the standard Note 21. The Pro model, however, is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, a chip commonly found in more budget-friendly phones. Both devices come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage via microSD cards.

Despite Meizu’s recent emphasis on AI, neither phone appears to feature AI capabilities. Details on the software are limited, but it’s likely they will operate on Meizu’s FlymeOS.

    Meizu Note 21 Pro

The battery configurations reflect different priorities. The Note 21 includes a large 6,000mAh battery supporting 18W charging, emphasizing endurance. In contrast, the Note 21 Pro offers a smaller 4,950mAh battery but faster 30W charging.

    Meizu 21 Specifications

The Meizu 21 comes with a 6.55-inch OLED FHD+ display, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and ultra-thin 1.74mm symmetrical bezels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and includes a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging. It runs on Android 14 with Flyme 10.5.

The rear camera setup of the Meizu 21 includes a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. A 32-megapixel front camera is provided for selfies. Additional features include an Aicy smart RGB-LED ring on the back, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, dual speakers, and an IP54-certified body.

    Availability and Pricing

Meizu has yet to announce the pricing or specific launch dates for these products, but promises more information soon. The Note 21 will be offered in Gulf Blue, Diamond Black, and Ivory colors, while the Note 21 Pro will be available in Bay Blue, Sandstone, and Marble. Meanwhile, the Meizu 21 will come in Black, Purple, Green, and White.

Meizu Note 21 and Note 21 Pro Receive FCC Certification

Meizu is set to release two budget-friendly smartphones, the Meizu Note 21 and Note 21 Pro. These devices are considered affordable mainly because they lack 5G support. According to FCC certification, both models only support 4G connections, suggesting that they may not be available in all regions. We first noticed these devices about a month ago.

    Meizu Note 21 & Note 21 Pro

The Meizu Note 21 and Note 21 Pro are likely to be available in several regions worldwide. However, the exact countries where they will be sold remain unknown. The FCC certification has revealed significant details about these smartphones, including design features, connectivity options, and more.

    Meizu Note 21 M411H

The Meizu Note 21 will feature three rear cameras and a flash. Its model number is M411H, and it will come with the Android 14 operating system pre-installed. The dimensions of the device are 167.8mm in length, 77.4mm in width, and 9.1mm in thickness, making it relatively thick.

The Note 21 series does not support 5G or Wi-Fi 6. Instead, the devices are compatible with 2G/3G/4G and Wi-Fi 5 connections. It is unlikely that these devices will be sold in Europe, as they lack LTE FDD B20 band support. Additionally, the Meizu Note 21 will feature a large 6000mAh battery.

    Meizu Note 21 Pro

The Meizu Note 21 Pro will have two rear cameras and an LED flash, with the model number M412H. This smartphone will also be released with the Android 14 operating system. It measures 168.5mm in length, 76.6mm in width, and 8.35mm in thickness, making it thinner and potentially more aesthetically pleasing compared to the Note 21.

In terms of connectivity, the Note 21 Pro offers similar features to the Meizu Note 21, including NFC support. The battery capacity for the Note 21 Pro is 4950mAh. We first spotted these smartphones a month ago, and now that they have passed FCC certification, more details have come to light. Meizu is expected to announce the Note 21 series soon.
