Honor 400 Lite Chipset, RAM, and Design Leaked on Google Play Console

    Key Takeaways

    1. Introduction of Honor 400 Lite: The Honor 400 Lite is set to be a new addition to the Honor lineup, succeeding the previous Honor 200 Lite.

    2. MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Chipset: The device will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, offering a mix of performance and energy efficiency for everyday tasks and light gaming.

    3. RAM and Software: Expected to come with 8GB of RAM, with a potential 12GB variant, the Honor 400 Lite will launch with Android 15 pre-installed.

    4. Similar Design to Honor 200 Lite: The design of the Honor 400 Lite closely resembles its predecessor, the Honor 200 Lite, particularly in display features and overall aesthetics.

    5. Battery Expectations: While details are limited, there is hope for an increase in battery capacity compared to the Honor 200 Lite’s 4,500mAh battery with 35W wired charging.

Honor is preparing to grow its lineup with the new Honor 400 series. The focus is on the Honor 400 Lite, which has recently been spotted on the Google Play Console. It’s worth noting that the previous Honor 300 series didn’t include a ‘Lite’ version, making this device the successor to the Honor 200 Lite that was released in April last year.

    Key Information Uncovered

The listing for the Honor 400 Lite (model number ABR-NX1) indicates that it will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset. This chipset includes a CPU with two Cortex-A78 cores operating at 2.2GHz, along with six Cortex-A55 cores functioning at 2GHz. This processor has been utilized in devices like the Moto G55 and the Redmi Note 14, providing a good balance of performance and energy efficiency. Overall, it should be adequate for daily usage and light gaming.

    Expected Features

According to the Google Play Console, the device is equipped with 8GB of RAM, and we anticipate a 12GB variant as well, similar to the Honor 200 Lite, which offered both options. On the software side, the 400 Lite will launch with Android 15 pre-installed. The listing also shares a render of the phone, which closely resembles its predecessor. From the pill-shaped cutout on the display to the bezels, the overall design seems quite similar to last year’s model. However, this is still a render, and the actual bezels might be slimmer than shown.

    Previous Model Specifications

While many details about the new model are still unknown, we can take a look at the previous Honor 200 Lite to gauge what might come. The Honor 200 Lite features a 6.7″ FHD+ AMOLED screen and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 108 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro lens. The front has a pill-shaped cutout with a 50MP selfie camera.

Internally, the 200 Lite is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W wired charging. Given the current trend in using high-density Si/C batteries, we hope to see at least a slight increase in battery capacity with the Honor 400 Lite.

Lava Blaze Duo: Mid-Range Phone with Unique Dual Screens

In 2021, Xiaomi introduced the Mi 11 Ultra, a top-tier Android smartphone featuring a unique secondary display located beside its rear cameras. This year, the Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has revived this design, first with the Agni 3 in October and now with the new Blaze Duo.

    Specifications and Features

The Lava Blaze Duo is a mid-range 5G device, sporting a 6.67” curved AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The smartphone is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, and it comes in two RAM options: 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR5, along with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A downside is the absence of a microSD card slot for extra storage.

    Camera and Display

Adjacent to the rear cameras is a compact 1.58” display that has a resolution of 228 × 460. This secondary display is smaller than the 1.74-inch version found on the Agni 3. It serves as a viewfinder for selfies captured with the rear cameras and also shows call and app notifications, audio playback controls, number of steps taken, and battery status.

    Battery and Connectivity

Inside, the device houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB-C. The Blaze Duo also includes Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi connectivity, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Face Unlock capabilities. According to Lava, the phone runs on a version of Android 14 that’s free of ads and bloatware, with a promise of an upgrade to Android 15 in the future.

The Lava Blaze Duo comes in two colors: Arctic White and Celestial Blue, both featuring a matte finish. It will be available for purchase starting December 20, with a recommended retail price of ₹18,999 (~$224/€213) for the 6GB RAM model and ₹20,499 (~$241/€230) for the 8GB RAM model.
