According to Chinese tipster DCS, a compact yet high-performance tablet is set to hit the Chinese market soon. While it may seem like an entirely new model, Lenovo’s consumer marketing director has clarified that it is essentially the Lenovo Legion Y700 2023 model with a modified screen. The key change lies in the screen type, transitioning from glossy to a matte finish for the upcoming version.
Benefits of a Matte Display
A matte display boasts an anti-glare coating that aids in diffusing light, thereby minimizing reflections and enhancing visibility under bright lighting conditions. The consumer marketing director at Lenovo also hinted that the next iteration of the Legion Y700 tablet will take some time before its launch in China. Additionally, a new YOGA Pad is anticipated to debut later this year. The release date for the Legion Y700 2023 model with a matte display is anticipated to fall around April.
