Realme GT 7 Pro: Features and Expectations for Snapdragon 8 Elite

The Realme GT 7 Pro is on the verge of its launch, marking it as the latest flagship smartphone from the brand. This release is highly awaited as it features Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Here’s what we know so far about the Realme GT 7 Pro and what features you can look forward to.

    Design and Build Quality

The Realme GT 7 Pro boasts a premium design typical of high-end smartphones. Its back panel is crafted using a multi-layered hot-forging AG process, which Realme calls the Mars Design for its orange color variant. This design is inspired by Mars’ red and rugged surface. On the back, there’s a sizeable rectangular camera module. Besides the striking orange color, buyers can also choose from Star Trail Titanium and Light Domain White options.

    Display and Durability

This new flagship is equipped with an IP68/69 rating, ensuring dust and water resistance, along with a sturdy metallic middle frame. The front features a large 6.78-inch Samsung Eco² OLED Plus display that has a unique micro-quad-curved design. This display presents a 1.5K resolution, supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and uses 8T LTPO technology. Additionally, it has a 2600Hz touch sampling rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, an impressive peak brightness of 6000 nits, and is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Realme is gearing up to unveil its new flagship smartphone, the GT 7 Pro, on November 4 in China. This device is also expected to make its way to global markets within the same month. India is likely to be among the first countries to receive the phone outside of China. Today, both the Chinese division and the international team of the company announced that the GT 7 Pro will come in a vibrant orange variant known as Mars Design.

Unique Design of the GT 7 Pro

The Realme GT 7 Pro features a back panel created through a multi-layered hot-forging AG technique. This advanced method enables precise control of temperature and pressure, resulting in a surface that resembles the rough, red texture of Mars.

    Camera and Aesthetics

Reminiscing about the Realme GT 5 Pro, which had a large round camera setup, the GT 7 Pro opts for a different approach. Its camera module, located in the upper-left corner, adopts a square shape. It includes three lenses along with a flash, all framed in a sleek metal structure that gives it a modern aesthetic. Notably, one of the lenses is a periscope telephoto camera, and the device boasts an impressive 120x digital zoom.

    Display and Performance Highlights

The GT 7 Pro showcases the world’s first Eco² Skyscape Screen, a custom display from Samsung. It features hardware-level full-brightness DC dimming and incorporates Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which enhances both display quality and user experience. The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

On the performance side, the Realme GT 7 Pro is among the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, hitting over 3.02 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark test. Furthermore, it is said to include a robust 6,500mAh silicon-based battery that supports a rapid 120W charging capability.
