iQOO Z9s, Z9s Pro: Chipset, Battery, Camera, Colors Confirmed
The iQOO Z9s series is gearing up for its launch in India on August 21. The landing page for this series has been live on the official website for several days now. The updated page has finally disclosed the key specifications for both smartphones in the series.
iQOO Z9s Key Specifications
The iQOO Z9s will showcase a 120Hz curved-edge OLED display, powered by the Dimensity 7300 chipset. It will feature a 5,500mAh battery, although the company has not revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the Z9s.
On the back, it will have a dual-camera system, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS, paired with a 2-megapixel portrait lens and a ring LED flash.
The device will have an IP64-rated chassis and a slim profile of 7.49mm. It will be available in Onyx Green and Titanium Matte colors.
iQOO Z9s Pro Key Specifications
The iQOO Z9s Pro will also feature a 120Hz curved-edge OLED display, boasting a local peak brightness of 4500 nits. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and will house the same 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
Similar to the Z9s, the Pro version will have a 7.49mm thin profile, an IP64 rating, and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera with a ring LED flash. The Pro model distinguishes itself with the addition of an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Z9s Pro will be offered in Flamboyant Orange and Luxe Marble colors.
Both the Z9s and Z9s Pro will support camera features like 4K OIS video recording, AI Erase, and AI Photo Enhance. They are both expected to run on Android 14 and FunTouch OS 15.
iQOO Z9s Series Price in India (Expected)
Considering the features and specifications, the iQOO Z9s is likely to be priced between Rs 20,000 ($240) and Rs 25,000 ($300), positioning it as a strong contender in its segment. The iQOO Z9s series is scheduled to launch in India on August 21. According to a teaser poster shared by the executive, the phone will feature a curved display, which is likely the iQOO Z9s Pro. It is promoted as the fastest curved-screen phone in its segment. A small text at the bottom left corner of the teaser indicates an AnTuTu score of 8.2 laks for under Rs 25,000 at launch. This implies that the new model could be priced below Rs 25,000 after all launch offers. Another teaser had previously revealed that the iQOO Z9s series will have a squircle camera island similar to the iQOO 12.
Specifications and Rumors
Other details about the iQOO Z9s series remain undisclosed. However, an unknown iQOO phone recently appeared on the Geekbench database, speculated to be the Z9s Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 12GB of RAM onboard.

iQOO Z9s with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Spotted on Geekbench
iQOO is gearing up for the launch of its iQOO Z9s series of smartphones in India. The brand has confirmed the release for August but has remained tight-lipped about other specifics. Recently, a new Vivo device with the model number I2035 was added to the Geekbench benchmarking database. This device, likely part of the upcoming iQOO Z9s series, has also been seen in the Camera FV5 and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) databases.
Alleged iQOO Z9s Geekbench Listing
According to the Geekbench listing for the i2305, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm chip featuring four CPU cores clocked at 1.80GHz, three CPU cores at 2.40Hz, and a prime CPU core running at 2.63GHz. The source code for the listing indicates that the device is equipped with an Adreno 720 GPU, suggesting that it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
Earlier this year, iQOO launched the iQOO Z9 in China with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. This model is different from the iQOO Z9 available in India, which comes with a Dimensity 7200 chipset. There is speculation that the i2305 could be a rebranded version of the China variant of the iQOO Z9.
