The Chinese tech company posted a new teaser on X (formerly Twitter) indicating the launch date of May 7 for the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space edition at the Huawei Innovative Product Launch event in Dubai. Initially exclusive to the Chinese market, this special edition smartwatch is now confirmed to be globally available.

Anticipated Product Launches

In addition to the Watch 4 Pro model, the company is anticipated to reveal other new products such as the Huawei Watch GT 4 and the new MatePad 11.5. There is also speculation regarding the unveiling of devices like the MateBook X Pro and various other wearable gadgets. The Huawei Watch 4 Pro boasts a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466, providing 4.5 days of battery life and 5ATM water resistance.

While the European market seems to be the primary target, details about potential launches in other regions remain uncertain.

The Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition boasts a distinctive two-toned design blending red and black hues on its bezel, created using a specialized heating technique. Crafted for durability, it incorporates a high-tech ceramic bezel and a scratch-resistant sapphire glass cover.

This edition offers UWB (Ultra-Wideband) connectivity, enabling touchless management of compatible electric vehicles. It also supports eSIM functionality for independent call-making capabilities without relying on a smartphone.

Featuring a 1.5-inch AMOLED LTPO color display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, the watch’s side button is multifunctional, responding to both short and long presses, while the upper button serves as a rotating crown. It supports wireless charging and is compatible with devices operating on HarmonyOS 2.0 and higher, Android 8.0 and above, as well as iOS 13.0 and later versions.

With a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, users can wear it while swimming without worries. The smartwatch offers up to 4.5 days of regular usage and can extend its battery life to 12 days under normal conditions and 21 days with maximum use.

Although the pricing details for the European market remain undisclosed by the leaker, the Huawei Watch 4 Pro Space Exploration Edition made its debut in China at 4,999 Yuan, which roughly converts to around 658 Euros or US$704.
