Honor has launched its new X60 series with two smartphone models. The X60 and X60 Pro belong to the same line but differ in several key aspects. Both devices come equipped with an 8 MP front camera and a 108 MP rear camera, ensuring excellent photography capabilities.

    Display Differences

It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and has a peak brightness of 850 nits (HBM). On the other hand, the X60 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, which is brighter at 120 Hz and can reach up to 3,000 nits. Its resolution is 1224 x 2700 pixels, giving it a higher pixel density of 437 PPI.

    Performance and Battery

For processing power, the X60 is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, paired with a robust 5,800 mAh battery that supports 35 W wired charging. In contrast, the X60 Pro uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, similar to last year’s Moto G Stylus 2023 ($229.99 on Amazon). However, it features a larger 6,600 mAh Silicon Carbon (Si/C) battery with a faster 66 W charging capability.

    Availability and Pricing

Currently, both the X60 and X60 Pro are exclusively available in China, with starting prices at CNY 1,199 (approximately $168) for the X60 and CNY 1,499 (around $211) for the Pro model. Honor X60 and X60 Pro Launch: Sleek Design with Huge Battery

This evening, Honor introduced the X60 and X60 Pro in China. These smartphones are specially made to withstand drops and are the first in the market to achieve the SGS Gold Label five-star reliability certification. However, there is a lot more to explore beyond just their durability. Let’s delve deeper into these devices.

    Honor X60/X60 Pro Features

The basic model features a 6.8-inch FHD+ (2412×1080) TFT LCD display that can reach a maximum brightness of 850 nits in bright sunlight. Meanwhile, the Pro version is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that boasts a better 1.5K (2700×1224) resolution and can shine up to an impressive 3000 nits. Both models come with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

    Design and Build

Both the standard and Pro variants have a modern design, with thicknesses of 7.88mm for the X60 and 7.98mm for the Pro, weighing in at 189g and 188g, respectively. The Honor X60 is available in Mint Green, White, and Black colors, while the Pro model adds an orange color option to the mix.

    Performance

In terms of performance, the Honor X60 is powered by the 6nm Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, while the X60 Pro features the more advanced 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. Despite their slim profiles, both phones come with substantial battery capacities. The X60 Pro is equipped with a robust 6600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, while the standard X60 houses a still impressive 5800mAh battery with 35W charging capabilities.

    Camera Capabilities

Regarding photography, both models include a 108MP main camera on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera. The Pro version allows for 4K video recording at 30FPS with the rear camera and also features EIS for stabilization during 1080p recording. On the other hand, the regular model is limited to 1080P recording.
