    The Honor MagicBook X16 2024 Ryzen edition is equipped with the R5-7640HS processor and is currently retailing in China for just 2,999 Yuan (approximately $415 or INR 34,600). Honor had introduced the laptop in India earlier this year featuring the 12th generation Intel Core i5, priced at INR 44,990.

    Specifications and Design

    The Ryzen edition now available in China features a sleek “Glacier Silver” color and offers a configuration of 16+512GB. Its design is notably slim, with a thickness of only 17.9mm and a weight of 1.75kg.

    The laptop includes a 16″ IPS display panel with an FHD+ resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The bezels can be observed in the image below. The screen has an anti-glare coating and supports a peak brightness of 300 nits. For eye care, it boasts TUV Rheinland low blue light emission certification and incorporates Honor’s self-developed technology to deliver a natural light-like appearance.

    The Ryzen 5-7640HS processor, built on Zen 4 architecture, includes 6 cores and 12 threads. It is coupled with the Radeon 760M integrated GPU for graphical performance. The laptop offers two performance modes – 35W and 45W, which can be toggled easily with the Fn+P shortcut.

    For handling more demanding tasks, Honor has integrated dual large-diameter heat pipes with a high-performance fan that features s-shaped slim fan blades. This enhancement is said to significantly improve the machine’s heat dissipation capabilities.

    Battery and Connectivity

    This version of the MagicBook X16 is powered by a 60Wh battery pack, providing up to 13.5 hours of local 1080P video playback and 11.8 hours of standard office work. Additionally, it supports 65W fast charging.

    The laptop also includes Honor’s smart connectivity features such as keyboard and mouse sharing, call sharing, camera sharing, notification sharing, and more across multiple Honor devices, maximizing the utility of the resources available.
