    Digital Chat Station is dropping hints about Honor’s upcoming gaming smartphone on Weibo. At this moment, Honor hasn’t disclosed any information about the potential launch of such a device. However, Digital Chat Station is confident that Honor is working on a successor to the Honor GT.

    What We Know So Far

    The leaker first mentioned that the Honor GT Pro is set to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, along with 90 W wired charging and a 1.5K (1220p) display. This means that the GT Pro will likely compete with top gaming smartphones available today, such as the ROG Phone 9 Pro and the RedMagic 10 Pro, which currently retails for $636 on Amazon. Later on, they added that the device will utilize LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 flash storage, in addition to having a flat display panel and a metal mid-frame.

    Additionally, the Honor GT Pro is rumored to come equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, marking an upgrade from the current Honor GT. This type of scanner is known to be more precise and secure compared to the optical ones. Honor typically uses ultrasonic fingerprint scanners in its flagship models, like last year’s Magic7 Pro.
