DroneXL has shared some early insights about another upcoming product from DJI. Recently, there have been new leaks regarding the Flip, Mini 5, and Neo 2 drones. Additionally, a new Osmo Action camera might hit the market later this year, even though the Action 5 Pro was just released worldwide (currently priced at $349 on Amazon).
New Action Camera Series
A completely fresh range of action cameras can now be added to DJI’s upcoming product lineup. According to DroneXL’s research, DJI is aiming to launch the Osmo Nano as the first model in what is expected to be the Nano series. While details about the Osmo Nano remain unclear for the moment, DroneXL’s sources indicate that it is being developed under the model number ‘ow001’.
Possible Features of the Osmo Nano
Given the implications of the term ‘nano’, it’s likely that the Osmo Nano will become the smallest option in DJI’s action camera lineup. This could mean a possible return to the design of the Osmo Action 2, which DJI has moved away from in recent years. Meanwhile, the company may also be getting ready to compete with the Insta360 X4 and GoPro Max by creating its own 360-degree action camera.
