Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel Watch 3 Renderings Leaked Again

We have already caught a glimpse of the new Pixel devices through a leaked promo video of the Pixel Watch 3 and renders of the Pixel 9 series. Now, additional renders of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and the Pixel Watch 3 have emerged online, thanks to tipster Arsène Lupin.

    Pixel Watch 3:

Below, you can view the renders of the Pixel Watch 3, which closely resemble its predecessor. However, reports suggest that the Pixel Watch 3 will feature a brighter display and potentially slimmer bezels. The strap design seems unchanged from the previous model. The speculated color options are also visible in the images below.

According to an earlier report, the Watch 3 series will continue to utilize the Qualcomm 5100 chip and the Cortex M33 coprocessor, similar to the previous model. It will come with the same 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage, mirroring its predecessor’s specifications. Consequently, the watch will have comparable computing power to the previous model. However, it is anticipated that the new watch will ship with Wear OS 5, which might bring some enhancements. It is also rumored that the refresh rate has been improved from 30Hz to 60Hz.

    Pixel 9 Pro Fold:

The tipster has also shared high-definition renders of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which you can view below. Sources indicate that Google intends to release two storage versions of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold: 256GB and 512GB. These variants are expected to be priced at $1,799 and $1,919, respectively.

Previous rumors suggest that the phone will boast an 8.0-inch inner screen with dimensions of 147×141 mm and a resolution of 2152 x 2076 pixels. The panel will offer a pixel density of 374ppi, much like the Pixel Fold. Unlike its predecessor, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is slightly shorter and features a 6:5 aspect ratio.

The outer screen measures 6.24 inches, whereas the predecessor has a 5.8-inch cover display. The upcoming device’s outer panel is rumored to achieve 1800 nits in high brightness mode, compared to 1200 nits in the previous model.

Google Pixel Watch 3 Rumored to Have Brighter Display Than Watch 2

The Pixel Watch 3 is anticipated to be unveiled at Google’s hardware event on August 13, alongside the Google Pixel 9 series. Prior to the launch, a new leak suggests that the Pixel Watch 3 will feature an enhanced display and improved battery life.

    Enhanced Display and Design

The Pixel Watch 3 is rumored to sport a 2000-nit display, offering double the brightness of its predecessor. A leaked promotional video unveiled the design and several features of the upcoming smartwatch. According to the video, the watch will be available in two sizes: a 41mm dial and a 45mm dial. The classic circular design is evident from the images above. The 45mm model had also been mentioned earlier in a report by 9to5Google. The watch will feature a rotating crown located at the center on the right side.

Although the design in the promo video closely resembles its predecessor, it seems to have at least one notable upgrade. The bezels appear slimmer compared to the Pixel Watch 2.

    Accessories and Fitness Features

Previous reports suggest that the product will come with various straps and an extra active band. A USB-C charging cable, which attaches magnetically to the watch, will also be included in the box.

The promotional video also showcases some of the fitness features of the forthcoming Google watch. It will provide real-time advice during runs and may include features like Cardio Load. It seems the company aims to position this as one of the top fitness-tracking watches available.

The watch will also offer a ‘Morning Brief notification’ to help users prepare for the day. This feature should include elements like a “Readiness Score,” a feature that Fitbit has been providing for some time.

    Color Options and Battery Life

Although the leaked video only displays the all-black color, there are reports indicating that the product will also be available in blue and pink options. In addition to slimmer bezels, the display is said to offer a peak brightness of 2000 nits. For comparison, the predecessor could only reach a peak brightness of 1000 nits, and the Apple Watch Series 9 also reaches 2000 nits.

While the exact battery capacity has not been disclosed, it is rumored to last 36 hours in power-saving mode and 24 hours in regular mode.

Google Pixel Watch 3 Confirmed with UWB Tech on IMDA & FCC Databases

Google’s upcoming Pixel Watch 3 is gathering attention with new updates. Following a European price leak last week, it has now surfaced on Singapore’s IMDA certification site and the FCC certification database.

The IMDA certification indicates that the forthcoming Pixel Watch 3 will feature Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology. UWB tech in smartwatches is known for enhancing navigation and connectivity.

    Various Models in Development

Several models are being developed, each with different connectivity options. The cellular version, identified by the model number GBDU9, will support UWB, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth. Additionally, three other models—GG3HH, GRY0E, and GGE4J—have been identified in FCC filings. Both GBDU9 and GRY0E will offer LTE connectivity, while GG3HH and GGE4J will be limited to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Leaks also suggest that the Pixel Watch 3 will come in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. European pricing details have also been leaked, showing that the smartwatch will start at EUR 399 and reach up to EUR 549.

    Motorola Edge 50 Launch Details

In other news, Motorola’s Edge 50 is set to debut in India on August 1st. This device features a 6.67-inch curved OLED screen, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition processor, and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. Running on Android 14, it promises three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 32MP front camera. Additionally, the device boasts MIL-810H durability and IP68 water and dust resistance.

  • Wear OS 5 to Support UWB, Bluetooth LE Audio on Pixel Watch 3

Wear OS 5 to Support UWB, Bluetooth LE Audio on Pixel Watch 3

Google is anticipated to launch its upcoming Pixel Watch 3 series in August, alongside the Pixel 9 series. Numerous details about the watch were revealed earlier this week.

The upcoming watch is expected to feature the long-awaited ultra-wideband (UWB) capability, as evidenced by its recent appearance on the FCC.

Now Mishaal Rahman from Android Authority discovered a hidden UWB toggle in the May Wear OS 5 Developer Preview while digging Wear OS 5. The toggle’s description states that it “helps identify the relative position of nearby devices that have UWB.” This finding confirms that the upcoming Wear OS watches will be able to utilize this feature.

Set for an August release, the Pixel Watch 3 will likely debut this feature. UWB offers superior precision in location tracking, an advantage over GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi, especially in small, battery-powered wearables. UWB’s accuracy in determining the distance and direction between devices makes it a valuable addition, already used in item trackers and by car manufacturers.

    Enhanced Bluetooth LE Audio Support

The Wear OS developer preview also hints at support for Bluetooth LE Audio, first introduced in Android 13 for single-source, single-receiver audio transmission. With Android 15, Google might be enhancing this to support multi-device audio streaming. This means the supported watch could stream audio to multiple Bluetooth LE Audio-compatible headphones simultaneously.

Currently, no smartwatch offers Bluetooth LE Audio support. The Pixel Watch 3 could be the first to include this feature.

    Addressing User Complaints

Google’s next Pixel Watch is rumored to address user complaints about the previous versions. The Pixel Watch 3 is expected to come in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, with cellular and WiFi options. The bezels will be slimmer at 4.5mm compared to 5.5mm on the Pixel Watch 2.

The display will also be brighter with a peak brightness of 2000 nits, up from 1000 nits on the previous model. The watch series is rumored to come in multiple colors, including Silver, Black, and Gold cases paired with Hazel, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Rose Quartz bands.

Google Pixel Watch 3 with UWB Support Spotted on FCC

Google launched the Pixel Watch 2 back in October last year, and the Pixel Watch 3 is slated for release on August 13th.

Recently, the upcoming Google watch has appeared on the FCC listing, revealing critical details about the product.

    Two Different Models

Unlike its predecessors, the Pixel Watch 3 series will feature two distinct models – the Pixel Watch 3 and the Pixel Watch 3 XL.

    FCC Listing Details

The FCC listing unveils four model numbers: GBDU9, GGE4J, GG3HH, and GRY0E. These might correspond to the 41mm and 45mm versions of the Watch 3. Specifically, the GBDU9 and GRY0E models will support LTE and UWB connectivity, along with Bluetooth, NFC, and dual-band Wi-Fi. The other two variants will offer UWB, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC, but lack LTE connectivity. All four models are expected to come with GPS support.

OnLeaks previously shared renders of the Watch 3, showcasing a design similar to its predecessor. The Watch 3 will feature the same circular bezel-less display with a rotating crown on the side. It is anticipated to sport a 1.2-inch AMOLED display, identical to the previous model. The watch will likely be available in Black with a matching strap, though additional color options may also be available.

    Slight Design Changes

According to earlier leaks, the Watch 3 will be marginally thicker than the Pixel Watch 2. The battery capacity is expected to be 307 mAh, a slight increase from the 304 mAh capacity of the Pixel Watch 2.
