Xiaomi’s Watch S4, which first appeared in China last October alongside its counterparts, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, is looking set for a worldwide launch. Insider Sudhanshu Ambhore has disclosed some details and renders about the European version, including its pricing. As anticipated, nearly all aspects remain unchanged, apart from the cost.
Details About Xiaomi Watch S4
The leak indicates that this smartwatch will come in silver, black, and a rainbow color variant. It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, achieving a peak brightness of 2,220 nits. It will include connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, and it supports Bluetooth calling due to built-in microphones and speakers.
The health and fitness monitoring capabilities are standard and will feature a heart rate monitor, an accelerometer, and a barometric altimeter. For navigation purposes, it supports GPS, Beidou, Galileo, and GLONASS. Additionally, the Watch S4 will have NFC capabilities and is rated 5 ATM for water resistance, making it appropriate for short swimming sessions. The device is powered by a 486 mAh Li-Po battery, which is reported to provide up to 15 days of usage. It is said to work with smartphones that run Android 8.0 or higher and iOS 12.0 or above. However, the wrist gesture controls available in the Chinese variant were not mentioned in Ambhore’s leak.
Pricing and Release Information
Ambhore estimates that the retail price for the base Bluetooth model in Europe will be around €159, which is roughly €10 more than the launch price of the Xiaomi Watch S3, currently priced about €115 on Amazon DE. Pricing details for the LTE version still remain unknown.
Rumors suggest that Xiaomi could unveil the Watch S4 in tandem with the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Although it is not officially confirmed, it is probable that the launch event will take place in March, aligning with MWC 2025.
