Samsung has announced that the Galaxy F06 5G will be launched in India on February 12. This smartphone is part of the F series and is designed to be an affordable 5G option, with a price tag set below Rs. 10,000. It will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display along with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The device will also support 12 different 5G bands, giving it a strong advantage in terms of network compatibility.

The Galaxy F06 5G will come equipped with a dual rear camera system that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, there’s an 8MP camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. Additionally, the phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and functionality for voice focus. It is fueled by a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Samsung has committed to providing four updates for the operating system and four years worth of security updates.

The design features flat edges and a display with a notch. The model number is SM-E066B/DS, and it can be found on the Samsung India support page. Marketing materials emphasize the dual rear camera and the notch display, showcasing the device as a blend of style and performance.
Availability and Pricing
The Galaxy F06 5G will be offered in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colors. It will be available in two RAM options: 4GB and 6GB, with matching storage choices. While exact pricing details have not yet been revealed, the previous model, the Galaxy F05, was launched at INR 8,000, so it is anticipated that the F06 will also be priced below 10K.
