The first feature is the addition of an IR blaster. Yibao acknowledged that this might not seem like an advanced function, but it significantly simplifies his life. He talked about the common issue of losing remotes, especially during festive times. “You eventually find it, but the batteries are dead – another trip to the store!” With the Find X8, users can turn their phones into a universal remote, thus avoiding the hassle of dealing with multiple remotes and dead batteries.
The second feature utilizes a well-known technology: NFC. Although NFC is not new, Oppo’s implementation in the Find X8 aims to enhance the user experience.
