ENGWE promotes its much-anticipated new design as an enjoyable way to travel in and out of the city without the hassle of car-related expenses, emissions, or parking issues.
Specifications of the LE20
The LE20 is equipped with 20 x 3-inch tires, a torque sensor that provides 75 Newton-meters (Nm), and a 750 watt (W) motor that can peak at 1,300W. It can reach speeds of up to 28 miles per hour (mph, about 45 km/h) in pedal-assist mode and can travel as far as 211 miles on a single charge, assuming a rider weighs around 165 lbs (75 kg).
Unique Features
This bike earns its 'cargo' label thanks to a notably long structure measuring 74.8 inches (190 centimeters), featuring a unique angular design based on step-through e-bikes. The standard model, priced at $1,399, includes a cushioned Safety Board positioned over the rear wheels.
A variety of add-ons are available: you can get front and rear racks, a safety rail, or a canvas pannier that can accommodate up to two children. However, each accessory requires separate purchases of the LE20's Cargo, Passenger, or Versatile Canvas versions to unlock them.
Pricing Options
The additional prices for these options are $1,530, $1,645, and $1,636, respectively. If you want to upgrade the Standard version with the new 8 amp (A) FlashCharge power brick, which reduces charging time to just 2-3 hours, that would be $1,536.
Also, if you opt for the Dual (48V/2 x 19.2Ah) Battery choice, each price increases by $300. Nevertheless, all options are currently at least $100 less than their regular retail prices.
Special Offers
For those ordering an LE20 until October 7, 2024, free accessory packs are included, featuring a helmet, a lock, a high-visibility vest, and a "10th Anniversary" keychain. You can also use the code LE2050OFF to get an extra $50 discount until that date.
You can explore the entire LE20 range available in blue or gray on engwe.com; meanwhile, a limited selection of its Dual Battery options is listed on Amazon as of now.
