Xiaomi Electric Scooter Elite: New Affordable E-Scooter Launch

The Xiaomi Electric Scooter Elite has now been officially listed on the brand’s global website. Earlier this year, details about this foldable e-scooter surfaced alongside the Electric Scooter 5 and the Electric Scooter 5 Pro models, which are also featured on the Xiaomi Global site.

    Entry-Level Model Expectations

This Electric Scooter Elite is anticipated to be the introductory model in Xiaomi’s lineup of e-scooters for 2025. According to the product page, it boasts a 400W motor that offers three different power settings and can reach a maximum speed of 25 kph (approximately 16 mph). When compared to the Electric Scooter 5 models, this one has the least range, offering 45 km (around 28 miles). For added comfort during rides, it includes dual spring suspension in the front and 10” tubeless tires. While it does come with built-in lighting and a display, these features are not as sophisticated as those found on the Electric Scooter 5. Additionally, users can check information like remaining mileage and tire pressure through the Xiaomi Home app.

    Pricing and Availability

Previous leaks indicate that the Xiaomi Electric Scooter Elite will be priced at €419 in the EU, making it the most affordable option in the series. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 is listed at €469. However, the company has not yet provided an official announcement regarding the global release date or pricing for their e-scooters for 2025. Meanwhile, consumers might want to consider purchasing the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4, which is currently available for €333 on Amazon DE.

Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro: Powerful New Model Launched

Xiaomi has introduced the Electric Scooter 5 Pro to the market. This new model is now listed on the company’s international website, showing that it will be available in various countries across the globe. It was launched alongside the regular Electric Scooter 5 and the Electric Scooter Elite, both of which were previously leaked earlier this month.

    Performance Features

Similar to the Electric Scooter 5, this electric scooter can reach speeds up to 25 kph (approximately 16 mph) and offers three different speed settings, which includes a walking mode. However, it boasts a more robust rear-wheel motor, delivering a peak power of 1,000W instead of 700W, allowing it to handle steeper hills with a gradient of up to 22%. Additionally, it is equipped with a Traction Control System (TCS) for better stability, although torque figures have not been disclosed.

    Specifications and Comfort

Other than that, the features of the Electric Scooter 5 Pro are nearly the same as those of the standard version. These features comprise a maximum range of 60 km (about 37 miles), a multifunctional display situated at the center of the handlebars, and controls that can be accessed through an app. The scooter is designed with dual shock absorbers both at the front and back, along with 10-inch tires, which contribute to a smoother riding experience. Additional amenities include an automatic headlight, a smart battery management system, and a foldable frame made from carbon steel.

    Pricing and Availability

As of now, Xiaomi has not officially announced the price or release date for the Electric Scooter 5 Pro. Previous leaks had indicated that it might be priced at €599. However, a new report from Dealabs mentions that it could be launched in France for €504.99. For comparison, the earlier model, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro (2nd Gen), initially retailed for €549, and it is currently listed on Amazon Germany for €429.
