At its core, Trek has integrated a 500 W Hynea rear hub motor that delivers 60 Nm of torque, allowing riders to reach a maximum speed of 20 mph (32.1 kph) and easily manage various terrains.

    Battery and Drivetrain

    Additionally, the motor works in tandem with a UL-certified 540 Wh battery, which provides up to 50 miles (80.4 km) of range on a single charge. Recharging the battery takes about 5.5 hours with Trek’s new EasyMag magnetic charger. The FX+ 1 also comes with an 8-speed Shimano ESSA drivetrain, enabling users to shift through 8 different speed settings.

    Load Capacity and Features

    The durable aluminum frame supports weights of up to 300 lbs (136 kg). Other notable features of the FX+ 1 include built-in front and rear lights, a brake light, a Shimano M315 shifter, an alloy fork, and an LCD display that provides quick access to speed, battery status, and more. Moreover, riders can monitor the e-bike’s performance and modify settings or maps using the Trek Central app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.
