    2. The Moto G56 has been prematurely listed, with a launch date of May 29 mentioned before the listing was removed.
    3. The Moto G56 will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and a 5,200 mAh battery with 30 W wired charging.
    4. The device will have a 32 MP selfie camera and a 50 MP main camera, along with IP69 certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
    5. The Moto G56 is expected to launch in North America, Africa, and Asia, but the timing of these releases is still uncertain.

Motorola smartphones have a tendency to leak ahead of their official releases. A recent example is when Evan Blass posted numerous images of the Edge 2025 before the company confirmed the phone’s existence. Interestingly, Motorola has now made the device available in North America, and we have outlined the full launch details in another article.

    Upcoming Moto G56

Next up is the Moto G56, which is set to join the ranks of the Moto G Stylus 2025 (currently priced at $399 on Amazon) and other latest Moto G models. This time, Motorola has been caught red-handed with a premature listing of the device. Although the listing has been removed, it did mention a launch date of May 29.

    Specifications Revealed

Moreover, a listing from Motorola Slovakia has unveiled several specifications for the new device. The Moto G56 is set to replace the Moto G55, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset along with 8 GB of RAM and a 5,200 mAh battery. With a 30 W wired charging capability, the Moto G56 will also boast a 32 MP selfie camera and a 50 MP main camera. It will come with IP69 certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i to safeguard its flat screen.

At the moment, Motorola plans to launch the Moto G56 in North America, Africa, and Asia, rather than just in Europe. However, it is yet unclear whether all these releases will happen at the same time.

Motorola Edge 2025 Renders Show Design and Camera Improvements

    Key Takeaways

    1. The Motorola Edge 2025 is set to launch in the U.S., following the Edge 60 series already available in Europe and Asia.
    2. The device features a curved display with a centered punch-hole camera and a customizable Quick Button.
    3. The rear design includes three cameras and a larger camera module, along with a faux leather back in Pantone-style green.
    4. Expected specifications include an OLED display, in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 rating, 5,000mAh battery, and Android 15.
    5. A launch date is not confirmed yet, but it may be released soon, likely following last year’s June timeline.

Motorola is preparing to introduce the Edge 2025 in the United States. While the Edge 60 series is already on the market in Europe and Asia, the version for the US has not been officially revealed yet. Recently, some new images shared by Evan Blass (@evleaks) provide a good preview of what to expect.

    Design Overview

The front design of the Motorola Edge 2025 seems to closely resemble that of the 2024 version. It features a curved display with a centered punch-hole camera. On the right side of the frame, there are power and volume buttons, while the left side includes the Quick Button, which makes a return from last year. Users can customize this button to launch specific apps or functions, such as email or webcam mode.

    Camera and Build Details

The rear of the device reveals a significant change. The Edge 2025 will come equipped with three rear cameras instead of two, leading to a larger camera module and a redesigned LED flash. The phone also boasts a faux leather back, available in a Pantone-style green color. It’s not yet known if other color options will be offered.

    Expected Specifications

Although there isn’t an official specification sheet available yet, it’s anticipated that the device will have an OLED display with a high refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68 dust and water resistance, a 5,000mAh battery, 68W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and will run on Android 15.

In comparison, the Motorola Edge 2024 featured a 6.6-inch 144Hz pOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It was equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera with optical image stabilization, a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro capabilities, and a 32MP front camera. The device also included stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G connectivity, and the same Quick Button.

Although there is no confirmed launch date yet, given this leak and last year’s June release, the Edge 2025 is expected to arrive soon.
