Ecovacs Launches 2025 Goat Robot Lawn Mowers: A and O Series

Ecovacs has introduced five new robot lawn mowers at CES 2025. These models are part of the 2025 Goat series, featuring the new A and O product lines. The lineup includes the Goat A3000 LiDAR, Goat A1600 RTK, Goat O1200 RTK, Goat O800 RTK, and Goat O500 Panorama. The company highlights a distinct combination of navigation technologies, such as satellite RTK positioning, LiDAR, and cameras, which are present in the different models.

    Features of the Flagship Model

The Goat A3000 LiDAR stands out as the leading model in the A series and the 2025 collection, capable of managing lawns up to 6,000 m² (approximately 1.5 acres). This mower is equipped with two LiDAR sensors and an AI camera that help it map your yard and dodge obstacles. Additionally, the A3000 boasts a dual-plate cutting system similar to that used in the Mammotion Luba 2 AWD (5000H model currently priced at $2,549 on Amazon). The Goat A1600 RTK has many features in common with the A3000 LiDAR, including the dual cutting plates. However, this model employs RTK, 3D ToF, and cameras for navigation, making it more suitable for smaller gardens, with a maximum size of 2,500 m² (around 0.6 acres).

    Smaller Lawn Solutions

The Goat O series targets smaller lawns and can navigate along paths that are 0.7 m (about 2.3 ft) wide. Both the O1200 and O800 utilize RTK along with 3D ToF sensors and cameras to manage lawns sized up to 1,500 m² (approximately 0.4 acres) and 800 m² (around 0.2 acres), respectively. On the other hand, the O500 depends on visual navigation and is ideal for areas roughly 500 m² (around 0.1 acres). Additional capabilities of these robot mowers include TruEdge mowing and adjustable cutting height.

    Pricing and Availability

At this moment, the pricing details for the Ecovacs Goat A3000 LiDAR, Goat A1600 RTK, Goat O1200 RTK, Goat O800 RTK, and Goat O500 Panorama have not been disclosed. These models are set to launch on February 10th in various countries, including Germany.
