    TCL Launches Ffalcon Thunderbird Crane 6 Mini LED TV

    The TCL Ffalcon Thunderbird Crane 6 25 Mini LED TVs are now available in China. These models are offered in four different sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch. This TV boasts a 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and features a native refresh rate of 144 Hz. The larger three models are equipped with a VRR game accelerator that reaches 288 Hz, similar to the TCL QM6K.

    Display Features and Technology

    All four Thunderbird Crane 6 25 TVs come with varying backlight partitions: 144, 224, 300, and 352, depending on the size. The two smaller sizes can reach up to 1,000 nits of brightness, while the larger versions achieve 1,300 nits. TCL claims that this model covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum and is compatible with Imax Enhanced, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10+. For connectivity, these TVs feature Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6, allowing for wireless casting through Miracast. Additionally, users can connect devices through HDMI 2.1 ports, and gaming features like Game Bar and ALLM are included. The TVs also come with a built-in 2.1-channel sound system that supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

    In China, the Ffalcon Thunderbird Crane 6 25 Mini LED TVs are available through retailers including JD.com, with prices starting at CNY 2,599 (about $355) for the 55-inch model and going up to CNY 5,399 (around $738) for the 85-inch version. For those in the US looking to buy a new television, the 2024 TCL 55-inch QM7 QLED 4K Smart QD-Mini LED TV with Google TV might be worth considering, currently priced at $497 on Amazon.
