Xiaomi introduced the Civi 4 Pro in March, and as planned, they have now unveiled a special edition called the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Disney Princess Limited Edition. This variant maintains the same internal specifications but features an eye-catching design aimed at female users.

According to Xiaomi, the design of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Disney Princess Limited Edition is inspired by the Disney classic story "Snow White." However, the main character here is the unique Black Queen instead of the traditional Snow White. This explains the dark purple color of both the phone and its packaging.

The back of the Civi 4 Pro Disney Princess Edition showcases a "Mirror of Truth" decoration, surrounded by magical dark patterns, making it exceptionally distinctive. The phone's accessories are also in the same dark purple hue. Additionally, the packaging box includes a unique poison apple-shaped hand rest that can be directly attached to the phone's back when used with the official customized phone case.

Upon powering up the phone, you'll notice the special edition theme on the user interface. The system offers two sets of themes: “Princess and Queen.” The interface also changes when switching between light and dark modes.

Display and Camera Specifications

The phone features a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1236×2750 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It supports Dolby Vision, achieves a peak brightness of 3000 nits, and has a pixel density of 460ppi.

Camera capabilities are a major highlight of this series. The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Disney Princess Limited Edition comes equipped with a 32MP main selfie camera with a focal length of 26mm and a 32MP wide-angle selfie camera with a 100° viewing angle.

The rear camera setup includes a combination of 50MP + 50MP + 12MP lenses. The 50MP main camera has an f/1.6 aperture, a sensor size of 1/1.55″, and OIS stabilization. The second 50MP module provides 2x telephoto capabilities, and the 12MP module offers ultrawide functionality.

Performance and Pricing

In terms of performance, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which is a slightly scaled-down version of Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset.

The phone is available exclusively in a 12GB+512GB variant and is priced at 3299 yuan (~$453).

Xiaomi has officially announced a product launch event on June 27 for the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Disney Princess Limited Edition. The phone is already available for pre-orders. Attendees of the event stand a chance to win 3CE cosmetics, co-branded gift boxes, and more.

A Gift-Worthy Choice

The promotional poster reveals a limited edition gift box and its accompanying accessories. Inside, users will find a customized magnetic magic mirror protective case, a magnetic holder, and stickers.

The phone itself comes in an Aurora Midnight Purple color with a unique back design that stands out. Described as a retro markup mirror, it is highly reflective and targets female users. The structure surrounding the mirror is reportedly made of platinum.

Internals and Specifications

Internally, the phone matches the regular Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a slightly toned-down version of Qualcomm’s fastest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The 8s Gen 3 chipset is supported by a 4700mAh battery with 67W fast charging capability.

On the front, the phone boasts a 6.55″ micro-curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1236 x 2750 pixels and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Camera Capabilities

In terms of photography, the rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with a Leica optical Summilux lens, a 50-megapixel Leica professional portrait lens, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, all featuring Leica branding.
