Diwali-Themed Watch Faces for CMF Watch Pro

CMF, the sub-brand of Nothing, is rolling out a festive update to honor the festival of lights with its Indian audience. They have launched three new watch faces inspired by Diwali for the CMF Watch Pro and Watch Pro 2 devices. The designs include an Oil Lamp, a Lotus, and a Dancing Lady. The Oil Lamp and Lotus designs showcase a digital clock style, while the Dancing Lady features an analog clock style.

Availability of the Special Watch Faces

Currently, these three festive watch faces are available for users of the Watch Pro and Watch Pro 2 in India. If you’re interested, you can find these unique watch faces through the CMF By Nothing Watch App. The CMF Watch Pro 2 was globally announced in July 2024, whereas the original Watch Pro made its debut in September of the previous year. The Watch Pro 2 comes with a 1.32-inch circular AMOLED display that has a resolution of 466 x 466, a 60Hz refresh rate, and peaks at 620 nits brightness.

Features of the CMF Watch Pro 2

This smartwatch has an aluminum alloy frame and includes a rotating crown. It is rated IP68, meaning it’s resistant to both water and dust. A standout feature of this smartwatch is the interchangeable bezels, allowing users to personalize their device’s appearance. Additionally, it supports various health sensors like heart rate monitoring, SpO2 blood oxygen tracking, and more. In related news, the CMF Watch Pro 2 received an update in August 2024, which added support for Google Health Connect syncing and some user interface improvements.

100W GaN Charger Launched in India with 9 Safety Features

A recent listing for the CMF by Nothing’s 140W GaN charger was briefly seen on Flipkart, but it was quickly removed. Although we anticipate its release shortly, a new 100W GaN power adapter has now surfaced on Flipkart.

    Specifications and Features

The listing provides details about the charger’s specifications and price, yet, similar to the previous incident, we could not locate the charger on either CMF’s Indian or global websites. This might indicate another early listing, but we have gathered all the relevant information. Here’s what the Nothing 100W GaN charger delivers.

The 100W GaN charger features a compact design, measuring only 61.5mm x 60.5mm x 30mm. It includes a two-pin connector and is equipped with three ports: one USB Type-A and two USB Type-C, allowing for the charging of multiple devices at the same time.

    Technology and Safety

This charger utilizes GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, which is recognized for its efficiency and effective heat management. Additionally, it is built with nine safety features, including safeguards against overheating, short circuits, excessive current, and leakage. This should give users confidence when charging their devices.

According to Nothing, the charger can charge a CMF Phone 1 to 62% in just 30 minutes, with similar results for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus. Its compatibility extends beyond Nothing devices, making it suitable for charging laptops, including MacBooks. The charger supports the PD 3.1 protocol, although Nothing has not specified the power output for each port when used alone or together.

    Pricing and Availability

Currently, the charger is listed on Flipkart without any official announcement from Nothing or its CMF sub-brand. It is priced at Rs 3,499 and is available in a Dark Grey color.

The orange adapter shown is currently marked as "sold out," but it may be restocked soon. Both color options come with a detachable cable included with the purchase.

New Nothing 140W Fast Charger Leaks Before Official Launch

CMF by Nothing, the sub-brand of Nothing, currently offers one charger in its lineup: the Power 65W GaN. However, it appears that a new charger may be on the way. An X user named @AbhishekMarkets discovered a listing for a different GaN charger on an Indian e-commerce site called Flipkart.

    New Charger Features

The newly listed charger shares a design similar to the Power 65W GaN and includes three ports—two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. The standout feature of this power adapter is its impressive support for 140W fast charging.

This new charger from CMF by Nothing could indicate that the upcoming Phone (3) may support faster charging capabilities compared to the Phone (2), which has a maximum charging rate of 45W.

    Pricing and Competition

According to the listing, the CMF 140W charger is priced at INR 6,000, which is approximately $72. In this price range, it faces competition from the UGREEN 160W Nexode X and the 150W Anker 747 GaN, currently priced at $99.99 on Amazon. Notably, these competitors feature a four-port design, allowing users to charge four devices simultaneously.

    Compatibility and Efficiency

The promotional materials on the Flipkart listing suggest that the 140W CMF charger is universally compatible. It mentions support for PD 3.1, along with other charging protocols like QC and PPS. Additionally, the posters indicate that this power adapter operates at a lower temperature than typical chargers.
