Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 Wireless Earbuds with Magnetic Switch

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 true wireless earbuds are made for long-term comfort, offering a runtime of 25 hours when noise-cancelling is off, and 15 hours when it’s on. When combined with the charging case, users can enjoy up to 60 hours of playback time. A quick 5-minute charge gives you 90 minutes of listening time. Additionally, the ATH-CKS50TW2 earbuds feature Magnetic Switch technology, which turns them off automatically when they are placed together.

    Sound Quality and Connectivity

Equipped with 9 mm drivers, the ATH-CKS50TW2 delivers sound across a frequency range of 5 to 20,000 Hz. They support multi-point Bluetooth 5.3 for low-latency connections and are compatible with SBC, AAC, and LC3 audio codecs. To ensure a snug fit, the earbuds come with four different ear tip sizes.

    Noise Cancellation Features

The earbuds include a hybrid active noise cancellation feature that effectively blocks out background sounds while listening to music. The hear-through mode lets users listen to conversations without having to take the earbuds out. They are also fitted with dual MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) microphones, which have a frequency response ranging from 100 to 8,000 Hz. This technology helps minimize background noise during calls through beamforming. Furthermore, the Soundscape function allows users to play calming pink noise, nature sounds, and meditation tracks.

Each earbud weighs 7.2 g (0.25 oz.) and takes about 2.5 hours to recharge. The charging case itself weighs 51.5 g (1.8 oz.) and can be fully charged in 4.0 hours using USB-C or in 7.5 hours via Qi wireless charging. The earbuds hold an IP55 rating, making them resistant to dust and water splashes.

    Pricing and Availability

The Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW2 earbuds come with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $149 and will soon be available from the A-T Store on Amazon.

Audio-Technica announces the launch of its ATH-CKS50TW2 earbuds, offering exceptional battery life and delivering the impressive sound quality that users expect, now with added convenience.
