    AOC Unveils 26.5″ 2K 480Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor

AOC has recently unveiled its new Agon 6 Pro series gaming monitor, known as “AG276QKD,” specifically for the Chinese market. This monitor was first revealed earlier this year and is now officially available for purchase in China. The price for this model is set at 5999 yuan ($826), and it can be found on JD.com.

Specifications of the AOC AG276QKD Monitor

This monitor is equipped with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED display, which merges the advantages of both Quantum Dot and OLED technologies to produce vibrant and rich colors, achieving an outstanding contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. This ensures that users enjoy bright and clear visuals.

The AOC AG276QKD features a resolution of 2560×1440 (2K) and can support refresh rates up to 480Hz, providing an extremely smooth and responsive gameplay experience with a GTG response time of only 0.03 milliseconds.

    Enhanced Visuals and Color Accuracy

With HDR True Black 400, this monitor reaches a peak brightness of 1300 nits, significantly improving detail and color in high dynamic range images. It covers an impressive 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 98% of Adobe RGB, making it suitable not just for gaming but also for professional color work, delivering remarkable color accuracy with factory calibration of Delta E <2.

The gaming monitor is certified by VESA for DisplayHDR 400 and includes features to help reduce eye strain during long sessions, like low blue light and flicker-free technology certified by TUV Rheinland.

    Gaming Features and Connectivity

Equipped with ClearMR Tier certification for enhanced motion clarity and adaptive sync technology, it helps to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering for a smoother gaming experience. Additionally, it offers features aimed at improving gameplay, such as a dynamic color enhancer, dark scene illumination control, and a smart alignment engine that adjusts colors in real-time, keeping the focus sharp for better targeting in games. For multitasking, it supports PIP/PBP modes, allowing users to manage two feeds at once.

In terms of connectivity, the monitor includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DP 1.4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, a USB upstream port, and an audio output. Its ergonomic design offers adjustable tilt (-5° to 23°), swivel (+/-30°), height (up to 130mm), and pivot (+/-90°) capabilities. It also supports VESA 100x100mm wall mounting.

    Additional Features and Durability

The AG276QKD comes with a built-in Light FX RGB lighting system, dual 5W stereo speakers, and a foldable headphone hanger for extra convenience. It also includes a cable management system and a portable handle for easy transport. Designed for durability, the QD-OLED panel features pixel-shift and image retention prevention technologies to ensure long-lasting performance.

In other news, HKC has recently launched a new 27-inch gaming monitor with dual-mode capabilities, offering 4K resolution at 160Hz and 1080P resolution at 320Hz. Meanwhile, Philips has introduced a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor that provides 300 nits of brightness and covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut.

As the market for OLED displays grows rapidly, AOC is making sure it stays relevant. Their recent introduction on their Chinese site — the AG276QKD — indicates this. This new monitor is a 26.5-inch OLED QHD gaming display, designed for those who want top-notch refresh rates and peak visual performance just from looking at the specifications.

    Impressive Specifications

The monitor features a remarkable 480Hz refresh rate and an incredibly quick 0.03ms grayscale response time. It has a native resolution of 2560×1440 and includes OLED technology that provides more than 10 million self-luminous pixels, resulting in vibrant colors and deeper blacks. The brightness reaches 275 nits at 100% APL (full white screen) and 450 nits at 25% APL. For HDR content, it can peak at 1300 nits brightness at 1.5% APL.

    Exceptional Contrast and Color Accuracy

One key highlight is the static contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, which helps maintain sharp details in both bright and dark scenes. The monitor covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and its factory calibration ensures a color accuracy of ΔE<2 for accurate color representation. With hardware-based low blue light technology, it minimizes harmful blue light emissions, while the TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free certification makes it comfortable for long viewing sessions.

    Connectivity and Design Features

The AG276QKD is certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, providing a broad dynamic range. Its AGLR anti-glare and low-reflection technology enhance viewing comfort in different lighting conditions. Additionally, the monitor features OLED Care tech designed to help prevent burn-in, a frequent problem with OLED displays.

For connectivity, this monitor is equipped with several ports, including HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. It also facilitates Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) options for dual-screen usage. The AG276QKD allows for height adjustment, tilt, and rotation to ensure comfort during prolonged use. Its stylish asymmetrical polygon base and ultra-slim bezels highlight its aesthetics.

With customizable RGB lighting and a quick-release bracket, this monitor appears to be ideal for high-end gaming and professional applications. Although pricing details have not been released yet, it’s anticipated that AOC will update the product page with this information shortly.
