Pricing Breakdown and Available Editions
According to Rockstar, the standard edition of GTA 6 will cost $79.99. Meanwhile, players who want extra content can pick up the Ultimate Edition for $99.99. The more expensive version comes with additional bonuses, including premium vehicles, exclusive weapons, special apparel, and other in-game content.
End of Rumors and Speculations
The pricing announcement puts an end to the many leaks and predictions surrounding GTA 6. Over the past year, there has been plenty of debate about whether Rockstar would push the game above the traditional $70 price point. As it turns out, the standard edition will indeed cost more then most current AAA releases.
Rockstar also shared new details for players planning to buy the game digitally. Anyone who pre-orders a digital copy of GTA 6 will be able to pre-load the game beginning on November 12, 2026. This gives players an entire week to download the game and have everything ready before launch day on November 19.
Physical Release Information
Interestingly, Rockstar has also confirmed that physical copies of GTA 6 will become available on November 12 as well. However, the physical release wont include game discs. Instead, buyers will find download codes inside the box that can be redeemed on their respective platforms. Take-Two Interactive Software
