    Back in March, TCL unveiled the C2A Pro in China as a 27-inch gaming monitor with a 4K resolution and QD-Mini LED panel.

    Specifically, the monitor uses an HFS Shoot panel from TCL CSOT, which combines QLED tech and mini LED backlighting to deliver up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. The monitor has now surfaced on Amazon US ahead of its June 8 release, however, buyers in the US will have to pay a hefty premium, as TCL has listed it for $999.99, more than double its roughly $488 launch price in China.

    Allowing gamers to choose between higher image quality for cinematic RPGs and faster refresh rates for competitive shooter titles. It’s also both G-Sync and FreeSync certified and is rated for a 1 ms response time (fastest). However, its biggest highlight is the mini LED display, which promises OLED-like black levels without the burn-in concerns. With 2,304 local dimming zones, the C2A Pro has more precise control over its backlight, resulting in deeper blacks with less haloing than conventional IPS and VA monitors.

    So bright highlights and colors stand out more against dark scenes for more impactful HDR. Plus, the QLED filter helps it produce more vibrant colors. In terms of connectivity, there are two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, two USB-A ports, and a USB-C port with 90W Power Delivery. The monitor is now listed on Amazon with a June 8 release date.
