Shanling has introduced an enhanced version of their M3X high-end music player. The latest iteration comes with an increased capacity of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is double the previous model’s specifications. It is priced at 1698 yuan, with an early bird special of 1598 yuan, and includes a complimentary leather case available starting July 15th.
Processor and Storage
The M3X is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and allows for storage expansion up to 2TB via a microSD card. It employs a dual ES9219C DAC setup combined with FPGA technology, facilitating MQA 16x unfolding.
Display and Battery Life
The device features a 4.2-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 356 PPI. It is equipped with a 3200mAh battery, providing up to 23 hours of playback in single DAC mode, 20 hours in dual DAC mode, 19 hours in balanced mode, and 46 hours in Bluetooth mode.
