Sennheiser has unveiled the MKH 8030 Figure-8 RF condenser microphone, adding to its MKH 8000 series. This newly launched microphone aims to provide clear audio even in challenging, noisy settings. It features a figure-8 pickup pattern that isolates sound sources effectively, making it ideal for both recording artists and sound engineers.
Features and Performance
The MKH 8030 is compatible with M-S (mid-side), double M-S, and Blumlein stereo recording formats, allowing it to integrate seamlessly with other microphones in the MKH 8000 series. It boasts a frequency response range of 30 to 50,000Hz, a noise level of 13dB(A) / 21dB (CCIR), a maximum sound pressure level of 139dB, and a sensitivity of -31dBV/Pa (28 mV/Pa). The microphone is wired and has a weight of 38g.
