The recently launched Roborock Qrevo S robot vacuum features an enhanced suction system and is offered at a more affordable price compared to its predecessor. This new Roborock model is equipped with a self-cleaning docking station, automatic mop fitting, and obstacle avoidance capabilities.
Enhanced Suction Power
Arriving in the US market following the earlier releases of the Roborock Qrevo and Qrevo MaxV, the Qrevo S boasts a 7kPa suction power, surpassing the standard model. It includes a main rubber brush and dual-spinning mops. When encountering a carpet, the mop is lifted automatically. However, the Qrevo S does not include some features found in the pricier Qrevo MaxV, such as the FlexiArm mop and dirt detection functionality.
Advanced Navigation and Self-Cleaning
The Qrevo S employs LDS laser navigation along with obstacle avoidance technology to efficiently perform cleaning tasks. It is designed to operate effectively in rooms up to 30 square meters and can be managed through its companion app. The docking station, slightly shorter than the original model but similar to the MaxV, activates the self-cleaning feature upon the robot's return. The mop is automatically washed and air-dried, enabling up to seven weeks of hands-free cleaning.
Pricing & Availability
The Roborock Qrevo S robot vacuum is priced at $799 in the US. Information regarding its availability in other regions has yet to be disclosed by Roborock.
