Roborock is set to introduce the G30U robot vacuum in China soon. This isn’t the first model from the G30 line; it follows the G30 and G30 Space vacuums, with the latter having been seen in China earlier this year. The two previous models are being marketed internationally as the Saros 10 (currently $1,599.99 on Amazon) and Saros 10R (currently $1,599.99 on Amazon), respectively.
Features and Design
The company has been promoting the G30U on Weibo. So far, it’s been disclosed that the G30U will maintain the same height of 7.98 cm as its earlier versions, which means it can easily slide under lower furniture pieces. Additionally, it’s equipped with the AdaptiLift Chassis, enabling it to overcome barriers and thresholds that are up to 4 cm (about 1.6 inches) tall. It boasts a suction power of 20,000 Pa and is capable of mopping at a stable temperature. Accompanying it will be the new Multifunction dock for smart self-cleaning features, such as hot water mop washing and emptying the onboard dustbin.
Release Date and Other Models
The G30U robot vacuum is scheduled to hit the market on March 10th. Alongside it, other advancements, such as the recently hinted-at P20 Ultra robot vacuum, will also be launched. In related news, Roborock has just rolled out the Qrevo Edge S5A and Qrevo Curv S5X robot vacuums and mops globally. These models are more budget-friendly versions of the Edge and Curv that were introduced in 2024, with the lower pricing achieved by removing certain features like the AdaptiLift Chassis.
