Redmi Turbo 4 Pro: 7,500mAh Battery & 90W Charging Expected

Recent flagship Android smartphones have begun to come with batteries ranging from 6,000mAh to 6,500mAh. The newly launched Realme Neo 7, a sub-flagship device, boasts an even larger 7,000mAh battery. There are rumors that a few premium devices featuring 7,000mAh batteries could be introduced next year. Furthermore, a recent leak indicates that Redmi might release a phone with a 7,500mAh battery in 2025.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and Its Features

According to the leak mentioned earlier, DCS has mentioned that a well-known brand is currently evaluating a phone that includes a 7,500mAh battery along with 90W fast charging capabilities. He claimed that this device is aimed at performance, featuring a flat screen and keeping a manageable thickness and weight.

In addition, he disclosed that while the device lacks a telephoto lens, it does come with a good primary camera. The performance-oriented phone is expected to be revealed in the first half of 2025. He also hinted that the final version might have a slightly lower battery capacity.

Speculations Around the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro

Considering that it is performance-centric, DCS might be talking about the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which is anticipated to launch in April 2025. Earlier leaks from DCS suggested that the Turbo 4 Pro will sport an OLED LTPS display with slim bezels and support for 1.5K resolution.

Underneath the surface, the Turbo 4 Pro is likely to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. Regarding its design, the phone is expected to feature a metal frame and a glass rear.

Global Rebranding Rumors

Since it is common for Redmi devices to be rebranded as Poco smartphones in international markets, there is speculation that the Turbo 4 Pro might be marketed as the Poco F7 outside of China. The Poco F7 is set to succeed the Poco F6, which was powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and launched earlier this year. For reference, the Poco F6 was known as the Redmi Turbo 3 in China.
