The Redmi K series of Android smartphones began as unique flagship killers. The upcoming Pro model is expected to feature a flat display with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a metallic mid-frame, and a corner camera bump, similar to the iQoo 13, OnePlus 13, and Realme GT7 Pro.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset
The K80 Pro is rumored to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is a common feature among these high-end devices. This also means that it will be comparable to the 15 Pro from Xiaomi, Redmi's parent company. However, just because they share this chipset doesn't imply that the two models will be exactly alike.
Display Differences
While the 15 Pro launched with a 2K display, the K80 Pro is also expected to offer a similar feature. However, it's reported that the K80 Pro will come with an LTPS panel sourced from TCL's CSOT, whereas the 15 Pro has an LTPO display. This difference could affect the power efficiency and refresh rate of the two smartphones, making one potentially more advanced than the other.
