Along with the Redmi Note 14 series and Poco X7 range, Xiaomi has launched several accessories in the global market. One of these is the Redmi Buds 6, which are budget-friendly wireless earbuds designed to provide exceptional sound quality and a personalized listening experience.
Audio Features
In terms of sound quality, the Redmi Buds 6 utilize a dual-driver configuration. One driver is a 12.4 mm titanium-coated dynamic type, while the other is a 5.5 mm piezoelectric tweeter. With customizable sound profiles, these wireless earbuds aim to reproduce every note in your preferred way. A significant feature of these earbuds is their Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capabilities.
Noise Cancellation
According to Xiaomi, these earbuds can reduce noise by up to 49 dB, which should enhance your audio experience. More specifically, the company claims they can effectively filter out sounds from traffic, typing, and light rain. Additionally, they support 360-degree spatial audio for a more immersive soundscape.
Additional Features
The Redmi Buds 6 also feature an adaptive transparency mode that automatically adjusts noise cancellation based on your surroundings. They have a dual-microphone setup for phone calls, and with AI-driven noise cancellation, this microphone arrangement seeks to provide clear voice communication.
Other notable features include a battery life of up to 42 hours when using the charging case, smart connection capabilities, and Bluetooth 5.4 technology. The Redmi Buds 6 will be available starting January 15, priced at £34.99 in the UK (about $43).
