Today, Nubia has revealed when the Red Magic 10 Pro series will be launched in China. The brand shared a poster that confirms the launch for Nov. 13, along with details about the new design of the Red Magic 10 series.
Red Magic 10 Pro series key features
From the image shared, it’s clear that the Red Magic 10 Pro series aims to deliver a truly immersive full-screen experience since it lacks a camera punch-hole. Similar to its previous version, the Red Magic 10 series will feature an under-display selfie camera, along with ultra-slim bezels, resulting in a fantastic screen-to-body ratio.
The Red Magic 10 Pro series is expected to showcase the highest resolution ever found in a full-screen smartphone. Last year’s Red Magic 9 Pro series came with a 6.8-inch display that had a resolution of 1116 x 2460 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an under-display camera.
Launch details and display specs
According to tipster Panda is Bald, it has been leaked that the Red Magic 10 Pro+ will offer an even better display with a resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels, a bump in refresh rate to 144Hz, and still featuring an under-display camera. Although the exact size of the screen hasn’t been confirmed, rumors suggest it could have a 7-inch+ OLED panel.
Earlier phones with under-display cameras often suffered from a noticeable reduction in resolution around the camera area, but the Red Magic 10 Pro series aims to fix this issue. To accomplish this advanced display, RedMagic worked together with BOE to create a new COP packaging process and the latest SIP ultra-narrow bezel tech. This collaboration has led to the narrowest possible screen edges, maximizing the display area.
Performance and battery life
The Red Magic 10 Pro series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Reports indicate that the series will include a dedicated gaming chip and a cooling system on par with PC-level standards to manage heat effectively. This series will also feature shoulder triggers to enhance the gaming experience. Additionally, leaks suggest that the device will come with a hefty 7,050mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging. Currently, there isn’t much information on how the Red Magic 10 Pro will differ from the Pro+ version.
