Red Magic has officially revealed the launch date for its upcoming flagship gaming smartphones in China. This new series is set to feature the Red Magic 10 Pro, Red Magic 10 Pro+, and the Red Magic 10 Ultra. Before the official announcement, the brand released a new teaser that highlighted its impressive display specifications.
A Full Screen Revolution with the Red Magic 10 Pro Series
The teaser focused on the Red Magic 10 Pro lineup, introducing its innovative Wukong screen. According to Red Magic, this is the first true full screen in the industry with a 1.5K resolution. This means that there are no notches or punch holes interrupting the view. The front-facing camera is hidden beneath the display, ensuring a smooth visual experience. Additionally, the panel features slim bezels, with the teaser suggesting an extraordinary screen-to-body ratio of 95.3 percent.
Wukong Display: The Future of Gaming Screens
The forthcoming OLED display is sourced from the well-known manufacturer BOE. This Wukong Screen will make its first appearance with the Red Magic 10 Pro series, while the Nubia Z70 Ultra is also expected to utilize this advanced display technology in the future. Recently, the Red Magic 10 Pro demonstrated its capabilities with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, as seen in a GeekBench listing. From what we know, the Red Magic 10 Pro+ is likely to feature a large 7-inch+ OLED display with a resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and a selfie camera beneath the display.
Enhanced Gaming Performance and Features
The Red Magic 10 Pro series is also anticipated to include a specialized gaming chip and a cooling system akin to what you find in PCs, aimed at better heat management. A substantial 7,050mAh battery is expected to power these devices, with potential support for 120W wired fast charging. Just a few days ago, the Red Magic 10 Pro models were listed with 3C certification. In October, an image leak of the Red Magic 10 Ultra surfaced, revealing a design update compared to its earlier model.
