Months after the release of the Realme V60, the company has introduced a pro version that features a fresh yet familiar design along with some enhancements in important areas. The Realme V60 Pro is the third device in the V60 lineup, which also includes the Realme V60s—an identical phone that is oddly priced higher for reasons that remain unclear.
Design Changes
The Realme V60 Pro maintains a flat display and frame similar to both the Realme V60 and V60s. However, it replaces the centered squircle camera layout with a rectangular camera design located on the left side of the device. This design is akin to the newly announced Realme C75.
Display and Performance
It offers a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen includes a centered punch hole and supports Realme's Rainwater Smart Touch, allowing users to operate the phone even with wet fingers.
Under the hood, the V60 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Interestingly, while the camera island has three circles, it actually houses just two cameras on the back: a 50MP main camera and one secondary camera whose specs are not disclosed. Additionally, it features an 8MP front camera.
Durability and Battery Life
The Realme V60 Pro boasts an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, along with military-grade durability, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures ranging from -20°C to 75°C. It is equipped with a 5,600mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging and 5W reverse charging. There is no audio jack present, but it does offer Hi-Res Audio.
Available in Obsidian Gold, Rock Black, and Lucky Red, the starting price for the Realme V60 Pro is CNY 1,599 (~$221/€209) for the 256GB model, while the 512GB variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (~$248/€235). Currently, the phone is exclusive to China, but it might not be long before it launches in other markets under a different name, potentially as the Realme C75 5G.
