Realme is reportedly developing two versions of the Realme GT 6, tailored for the global and Chinese markets. The global variant, equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, is anticipated to be announced on June 20. Meanwhile, the existence of the Chinese version remains uncertain, but it might launch in July featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This Chinese model is expected to rival the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, and Redmi K70 Ultra, all of which are also slated for a July release. By year’s end, all major Chinese smartphone manufacturers are expected to release the Realme GT 7 Pro in both India and China. Given that the Realme GT 5 Pro was unveiled last December, it’s likely that the GT 7 Pro will also debut in December of this year. Here are some rumored details about the device from recent leaks.
Realme GT 7 Pro Key Specifications (Rumored)
Qualcomm is anticipated to launch the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset in October. This chipset is expected to power the Realme GT 7 Pro. While it won’t be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phone to hit the Chinese market—since the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, also expected in October, are set to debut with this chipset—the GT 7 Pro might be the first to launch globally with the new chip.
Battery and Camera Features
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 7 Pro will have an ultra-large battery. The GT 5 Pro had a 5,400mAh battery, suggesting that the GT 7 Pro could feature a battery around 6,000mAh. Additionally, the GT 7 Pro will reportedly include a periscope telephoto camera, similar to its predecessor. Another leaker, Smart Pikachu, indicated that the GT 7 Pro will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, potentially making it Realme's first phone with this technology.
