Realme is preparing to introduce a new addition to its C-series smartphones in India, named the Realme C61. The company has disclosed both the launch date and the design of the device. This information has been shared through a dedicated microsite on Realme’s official website and Flipkart, confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform.
Realme C61 Launch Date in India
The Realme C61 is scheduled to debut in India on June 28, Friday at 12 pm local time. According to the microsites, the smartphone will feature a metallic frame with power and volume buttons situated on the right side. Notably, the power button will also function as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel will showcase two camera rings beneath a glossy, rectangular finish.
On the front, the Realme C61 will sport a waterdrop notch display with a noticeable chin at the bottom. The device is claimed to be IP54-certified for dust and water resistance. Realme has also stated that the smartphone has passed the German TUV Rheinland high-reliability certification. The device will be available in a Mint Green color option.
Key Specifications and Pricing
The Realme C61 is expected to come with an HD+ display. It will likely be powered by a Unisoc Spreadtrum T612 processor and be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, with storage options up to 128GB. The device is rumored to house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. According to a tipster, the Realme C61 will be priced under Rs 10,000.
