Honor Introduces Honor 90 GT and Honor Pad 9 in China
Honor has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Honor 90 GT, in China today. Alongside the smartphone, the company has also launched the Honor Pad 9. However, rumors suggest that the company's focus will soon shift to the upcoming Honor Magic 6 series, which is expected to be released in China in early 2024. Alleged Real-Life Image of Honor Magic 6 Pro
A recent leak shared by a Weibo user provides a glimpse of what could be the Honor Magic 6 Pro. The leaked image reveals a triple-camera setup on the back, arranged in a triangle formation. The top camera appears to be a periscope lens, as indicated by the "100x" zoom inscription beneath it. The Weibo user also shared a render that offers a clearer view of the phone's design.
Camera Setup and Other Features
Below the periscope lens, it is speculated that two other sensors, possibly a main and ultrawide lens, are present. Previous rumors suggest that the main camera could feature a 1-inch Omnivision OV50K sensor, while the periscope telephoto lens may have a resolution of 160MP. Additionally, it is expected that the front-facing pill-shaped cutout will house a 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) facial recognition system.
Processor and Connectivity
The Honor Magic 6 Pro is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Furthermore, there are speculations that the smartphone may feature satellite connectivity, as Honor recently filed a trademark for it.
Other Models in the Magic 6 Series
In addition to the Pro model, the Honor Magic 6 series is expected to include a standard variant and a Porsche Design model. However, the renders of the Porsche Design model that surfaced earlier seem inaccurate in light of the new leak, which showcases a significantly different design for the Magic 6 Pro.
