Razer Unveils PC Remote Play for Android and iOS at CES 2025

Earlier today, Razer unveiled an updated version of its Blade 16 gaming laptop, now powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APU. Alongside this, the company also introduced a refreshed version of its Razer Nexus app. For those who might not know, Razer has been providing the Nexus app on both Android and iOS for several years, functioning as a game launcher that doesn’t require a subscription.

New Features and Optimizations

The latest version of the app now includes a feature called PC Remote Play, which Razer claims has been fine-tuned for use with the Kishi Ultra controller (currently priced at $129.99 on Amazon) and Razer’s Sensa HD Haptics on Android devices. According to a press release from Razer, this software allows users to access all games installed on a connected PC without sacrificing visual quality or performance.

Streaming Capabilities

In a bold statement, Razer claims that PC Remote Play is capable of streaming full-resolution games straight from PCs. However, the company has yet to disclose the necessary internet speed for optimal performance. Additionally, the press release suggests that PC Remote Play can be utilized outside of a home network, a feature that took Sony over a year to implement on the PlayStation Portal.
