Porsche has unveiled the fifth-generation eBike Sport, which is also referred to as the eBike Sport 2025. Like the previous model, this version is created in collaboration with the premium bike brand Rotwild, with the aesthetics designed by Studio FA Porsche. This latest iteration brings several enhancements compared to the 2024 model, making it appropriate for both urban commutes and light off-road excursions.

Specifications and Features

The new Porsche eBike Sport retains the same “ultra-light” carbon frame seen in earlier models, available in sizes S, M, and L, with an average weight of 21.6 kg (~47.6 lbs). It boasts a 12-speed system powered by the Shimano EP801 motor, which provides up to 85 Nm of torque, alongside a Shimano XT Di2 derailleur. The smallest size is outfitted with a 504 Wh battery, while the larger models come equipped with a 630 Wh battery. Although the company hasn’t released specific range estimates, the 2023 eBike Sport, which has similar batteries, can achieve up to 175 km (~109 miles) in Eco mode and around 84 km (~52 miles) in Trail mode.

Enhanced Riding Experience

An exciting update for the 2025 model is the inclusion of the Fox Float 34 Performance Elite front suspension fork, offering 120 mm of travel, complementing the Fox Float DPS shock (100 mm) at the back. Another improvement involves the carbon handlebar-stem unit, which is optimized for superior control. Additional features consist of 5-spoke Xentis Mount-X carbon wheels, Magura MT7 disc brakes, and Schwalbe Racing Ralph tires, sized at 27.5 inches for the S model and 29 inches for the M and L versions. The Shimano SC-EM800 display provides data like speed and remaining battery life, with further details and controls accessible through the Shimano E-Tube Ride app, compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

Pricing and Availability

Moreover, the lighting system has been upgraded, including a powerful Supernova Starstream X Pro headlight with a brightness of up to 1,000 lumens and a rear Topeak BeSeen light. The beige Porsche eBike Sport is now available for purchase at $10,920/€9,900 through the Porsche Design online store and select Porsche Centers. It’s important to mention that currently, only the M and L sizes are offered in the US, while all three sizes can be obtained in Europe.
