Poco X6 and X6 Pro Smartphones Hint at Global Launch
Poco X6 and X6 Pro smartphones have been making appearances on various certifications, indicating that a global launch is imminent. Himanshu Tandon, Poco India country head, dropped a Christmas tweet that strongly suggests the arrival of the Poco X6 series in India.
Poco X6 Series Expected Models
Similar to its predecessor, the X6 series is expected to consist of two models: the standard X6 and the higher-end X6 Pro.
Poco X6 Specifications
According to leaks, the Poco X6 could potentially be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro. If this is the case, we can anticipate a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 1.5k resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device might be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The camera setup is rumored to include a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP additional unit.
Poco X6 Pro Specifications
The Poco X6 Pro, on the other hand, could be a rebadged Redmi K70E. This suggests a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a peak brightness of 1800 nits and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to feature the Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC, along with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. In terms of the camera, the Poco X6 Pro might come with a triple-lens setup on the back, consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video calls, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera is expected.
