The POCO M6 Plus is on the verge of being launched in India. But prior to the official unveiling, a new teaser has highlighted one of its significant features. This forthcoming phone is a budget-friendly model, slated for release next month.
POCO M6 Plus Teaser
The Chinese smartphone company, POCO, is all set to introduce the POCO M6 Plus in India on August 1, 2024. Just a week ago, the device's landing page appeared on Flipkart, showcasing its dual-tone back design, flat rear panel, and rounded edges. The front of the phone features a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. It has now been revealed that the smartphone will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE SoC (Accelerated Edition). This information was confirmed through a brief teaser video shared on POCO India’s official X account (formerly known as Twitter).
Specifications and Expected Pricing
Regrettably, more detailed information about its specs and pricing remains unknown. However, from what is known so far, the POCO M6 Plus might be a modified version of the Redmi Note 13R. This device was launched a few months earlier in China. The Note 13R boasts a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
This device also features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. For photography, it has a 108-megapixel dual-camera setup on the rear, while the front sports a 13-megapixel camera for selfies. It is powered by a substantial 5,030mAh battery, which supports 33W wired fast charging. The M6 Plus is anticipated to be a budget mid-range device, likely priced between 13,000 INR to 15,000 INR. Stay tuned for more updates as we will be covering the launch event later this week.
