Philips T3 4K QD-Mini LED TV Launched in Two Sizes from $648

Philips has introduced its T3 series of smart TVs to the Chinese market, offering models in two sizes: 65 and 75 inches. These TVs boast a 4K Quantum Dot (QD) mini-LED display, known for its premium quality. They provide an ultra-high definition resolution of up to 3840 x 2160 pixels, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The 65-inch model features a peak brightness of 630 nits, whereas the 75-inch variant reaches 610 nits. These TVs are designed with 50 to 100 backlight partitions to ensure vibrant picture depth and clarity.

Advanced Image Quality

Equipped with a built-in professional AI image quality chip, the Philips T3 series utilizes the Philips P5 image quality enhancement engine. This setup enhances images through smart algorithms, optimizing visuals in both bright and dark settings. Supporting a display of 1.07 billion colors, the TVs provide smooth and natural color transitions, covering 113%/103% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut for the 65/75 inch versions. HDR10+ is supported, ensuring stable and clear frames with the help of MEMC dynamic anti-shake technology. The series offers a wide 178º viewing angle for an immersive experience.

Performance and Connectivity

Powered by the A55 quad-core processor, the TVs come with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, delivering solid performance. The inclusion of 3.84kHz PWM dimming technology reduces screen flicker to protect viewers' eyes, allowing for comfortable long-duration viewing. Dual-band WiFi (2.4G/5G) offers smooth online entertainment access, and the TVs also support Tencent START cloud games, AI screen projection, and more. Audio features include exclusive audio chips with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Decoding+ support, along with two HDMI 2.1 ports, one USB 2.0 port, audio out, and RF interfaces.

Pricing

The Philips T3 series TV starts at 4,599 yuan ($648) and is available for purchase on JD.com.
