Oppo has given a sneak peek at its 80W Flash Charge Power Bank. This gadget is set to be officially revealed during the launch event for the Oppo Find X8 smartphone series. Posters showing images of the device were posted on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, disclosing some of its features.
Fast Charging Capabilities
The 80W Flash Charge Power Bank is designed to quickly charge the Find X8. It seems to have two ports: one USB-C and one USB-A, with the expectation that the power bank will charge itself through the USB-C port. The device packs a 12,000mAh battery, but it's not clear how many full recharges it can provide for the new smartphone. The time it takes to completely recharge the power bank is also unknown, though it features an integrated light that shows the charging status. This accessory is reportedly resistant to wear and is considered safe for use on airplanes.
Pricing and Launch Details
Additional information, including the cost of the Oppo 80W Flash Charge Power Bank, is anticipated to be disclosed during the Find X8 launch event in China on October 24th. In September, another Oppo magnetic wireless charging power bank was spotted in a leaked image; it's uncertain if this is a different product being launched at the same time or if the source was mistaken. Whether this power bank will be available in other regions is still to be determined. Meanwhile, you might want to think about getting the Anker Prime 12,000mAh Power Bank (130W), which is currently priced at $49.99 on Amazon.
