Oppo is gearing up to introduce its Find X8 series smartphones to the global market and in India on November 21, following a recent launch in China. After this, the company is anticipated to unveil the mid-range Reno 13 series in China.
Release Timeline for Reno 13 Series
However, as per a report from 91mobiles, the Reno 13 series is not expected to be released immediately outside of China. The information suggests that Oppo may aim to launch the Reno 13 series in India by January 2025, which would result in a two-month delay after its Chinese premiere. This timeline fits with Oppo’s typical approach for the Reno series, where new devices often arrive in international markets a few months post their initial introduction in China.
Specifications of the Oppo Reno 13 Series
Recent leaks indicate that the Reno 13 series is set to provide impressive features for the mid-range category. It's anticipated that both the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro will feature a 1.5K resolution display, a high-quality metal design, and will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 processor, along with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The standard Reno 13 is rumored to have a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro variant might showcase a more expansive 6.83-inch quad-micro-curved display.
Enhanced User Experience
Both models are likely to boast excellent dust and water resistance (IP68/IP69 ratings), X-axis linear vibration motors, and stereo speakers to elevate the user experience. Battery life seems promising, with the Reno 13 expected to house a 5600mAh battery, while the Pro model might offer a superior 5900mAh capacity. The Pro version could also come with magnetic wireless charging for more convenience.
The camera setup on the Reno 13 Pro is anticipated to be a standout feature, featuring a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and an outstanding 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
