Oppo is reportedly in the process of developing the Reno 12 series of smartphones for the global market. The brand has allegedly confirmed that the Reno 12 lineup will be unveiled this month. This series is anticipated to include three models: Reno 12F, Reno 12, and Reno 12 Pro. According to a new leak from leaker Chun, the Reno 12F will be available in both 4G and 5G versions internationally.
Oppo Reno 12 5G, 4G Specifications (Rumored)
As per the leaker, the Reno 12F 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chip, while the 5G version will feature the Dimensity 6300v. The 4G variant is expected to be priced below $300 in Southeast Asian markets.
The leak does not provide any information regarding the price of the Reno 12F 5G. Both versions of the phone will be offered in colors such as gray, green, and orange.
Camera and Features
The 4G model will not support NFC, whereas the 5G variant will include this feature. Additionally, the leak indicates that both models will have the same camera setup. They will sport a Sony IMX615 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
On the rear, both phones will feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D primary camera, accompanied by 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras. Both models will also include an LED ring around one of the cameras.
Additional Specifications
The Reno 12F 4G and 5G variants might differ in terms of RAM and storage options. Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t provide any details about the Reno 12F series’ RAM, storage, display, battery, or charging capabilities. However, a recent certification indicated that the 5G version might be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging.
