Oppo is preparing to launch its Reno 12 series smartphones in China soon. Ahead of this release, the design and color options for the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro have been revealed. New images have surfaced online showcasing the vibrant colors, so let’s delve into the details.
Oppo Reno 12, Reno 12 Pro: Colors
Official renders of these upcoming mid-range devices were shared on X (formerly Twitter) by well-known tipster Evan Blass. Recently, Oppo officially teased the design and colors of the Reno 12 series. Initially, only the Silver option for the Reno 12 and the Purple variant for the Reno 12 Pro were shared by Oppo. However, the tipster has now unveiled additional color options for both the base and Pro models.
The Reno 12 is available in Light Pink and Dark Gray/Black colors, while the Reno 12 Pro comes in Purple and Black variants. Both the Silver and Purple versions of these devices showcase wave-like patterns on the rear. Oppo is set to unveil the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro in China on May 23, 2024. To recall, both models are expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the base model may come with the Dimensity 8250 SoC, while the Pro variant will likely pack the Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
Reno 12
The Reno 12 series is expected to arrive in similar storage configurations: 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 16GB RAM + 512GB. Both devices will likely be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack, which could support 80W wired fast charging. For optics, both models are expected to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the rear.
