Oppo is gearing up to launch a new tablet in China, the Oppo Pad 3 Pro, with speculations about its standout features gaining momentum. As per Digital Chat Station, the tablet will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Accelerated Edition processor, placing it among the top-tier tablets available.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Storage Capabilities
The Oppo Pad 3 Pro is anticipated to include 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, making it ideal for demanding multitasking and large-scale media storage needs. However, the eagerly awaited ColorOS 15 update won't be available immediately upon release. The update is expected to roll out later, although no exact timeline has been shared. Beta testing for ColorOS 15 is set to commence at the end of this month, targeting the OnePlus 12 and Oppo Find X7 series smartphones.
Design and Color Options
Leaks suggest that the design of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro will closely mimic that of the OnePlus Pad Pro. The tablet will be available in two colors: Blue and Gold, adding to the existing grey and green options of the OnePlus Pad Pro. Along with the tablet, Oppo plans to offer additional accessories, including a smart protective case and the Oppo Pencil 2 Pro stylus in black, enhancing the device's appeal for both professional and everyday users.
Competitive Edge Over Xiaomi
In a comment, Digital Chat Station hinted that the Xiaomi Pad 7, another forthcoming player in the tablet market, might deliver "significantly lower performance," despite being expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This suggests that the Oppo Pad 3 Pro might hold a notable edge over Xiaomi's device regarding processing power.
Additionally, there are hints that the OnePlus Ace 5 could also sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Accelerated Edition processor, potentially setting a new performance standard within its segment.
